Dr. Lonny Hughes
Pastor
Dr. Lonny Hughes is the Pastor of Hamilton Baptist Church. He has served families since 1997 in educational, athletic, and ministerial settings. He has earned a B.A. in Elementary Education, M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Educational Ministry.
Dr. Hughes has served the Gateswood community through the local public school system and now as Hamilton’s pastor. He is passionate about preaching God’s Word, seeking God’s will, uniting God’s people, and equipping them to serve.
Lonny has been married to his wife Stephanie since 1991, and they have six children and many grandchildren. He loves to learn, spend time with family, and enjoy God’s creation through outdoor adventures.

Joshua Coberly
Worship Leader
Joshua Coberly has been leading worship within the music ministry for almost 7 years. He is passionate about leading multi-generational congregations in worship through a variety of music styles and genres.
Joshua and his family joined Hamilton Baptist Church in February of 2023. Between he and his beautiful wife Kristen, they have been blessed with 7 wonderful children.
